Advarra Announces Appointment of Ken O’Connell to the Executive Leadership Team as President, Technology and Professional Services

Advarra announced the appointment of Ken O’Connell as President, Technology and Professional Services on March 1, 2021. O’Connell has over 15 years of executive leadership experience in the clinical research industry with an emphasis of technology solutions. In this role, he will manage our Longboat business, Professional Services, and Advarra’s EU operations. O’Connell is also President, Technology Solutions on an interim basis.

Prior to Advarra, he was Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Longboat Clinical and was responsible for all aspects of the business through its successful acquisition by Advarra. Before Longboat, O’Connell held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Firecrest Clinical Limited, now part of ICON.
