The Powerful Potential of Open Collaboration
The Powerful Potential of Open Collaboration
At Advarra, we believe creating an innovative solution designed to address the disconnectedness, system proliferation, costs, and inefficiencies between research stakeholders goes beyond a single vendor – it requires an industry-wide effort. That same sentiment was expressed by the 20 attendees of the Site-Sponsor Consortium’s first in-person meeting at the Onsemble Conference on March 29th.
For many members, the meeting was a riveting reminder of what they all hope to achieve within research, and a tangible example of the impact of candid, transparent discussion. Specifically, the Consortium rallied around the importance of standards, sparked by speaker Rhonda Facile, VP of Partnerships at CDISC, and brainstormed ways to best scale successful processes across the entire industry. The next Consortium gathering will take place virtually at the end of April, where we’ll pick up conversations on regulatory packets, trial master file (TMF) standardization, and greenlight checklists.
Hear from new member, Laura Edgerton, Associate Director of Study Startup with Syneos Health on her collaboration experience and what she hopes to achieve within the Consortium.
Welcoming New Members
“Regulatory burdens are ever increasing on sites and sponsors, yet we all seek to optimize and reduce workload inefficiencies. Advarra’s Consortium offers an opportunity to drive change with key stakeholders from academia and industry by removing traditional siloed approaches to address these challenges.”
– Christy Anton, Director, Clinical Trial Activation, OCTA, UCSF
“Sarah Cannon is honored to join the Site-Sponsor Consortium with Advarra to enhance the future of research. As a multi-site network, we hope to collaborate with the group to advance the use of technology in the operational and financial processes to improve site and sponsor efficiency.”
– Dawn Love, Director of Clinical Systems, Sarah Cannon Research Institute
Development Updates from the Connected Ecosystem
Not all digital workflows are created equal. We strive to optimize workflows for our customers, not simply digitize the labor-intensive paper processes that exist today. Advarra Connect is one of the tools available in our ecosystem that does just that. Trusted and deployed by life sciences companies, Advarra Connect replaces manual, error-prone document filing processes, by integrating your eTMF with the Advarra CIRBI Platform. In one use case, Advarra Connect helped save 600 employee hours per month for a leading biopharmaceutical company.
