Introducing Fireside Chats: Conversations On Burning Research Topics

Advarra is excited to introduce Fireside Chats, a series of virtual conversations discussing current issues in clinical trials. Each Fireside Chat brings together perspectives from across the research community, enabling real-time discussion of contemporary challenges and potential solutions to help make research altogether better.

Advarra is committed to connecting the research community and sharing expertise and resources to promote professional development, discussion, and collaboration. While the research community cannot meet in person right now, it’s more important than ever to stay connected and share best practices, so we can continue our shared mission of advancing human health.

During this unprecedented time, people are especially eager to learn and share ideas, so Advarra is honored to provide the clinical research industry with up-to-date information and viewpoints in this new format. The organization is proud to be able to provide the research community with additional in a virtual-friendly way.

Each Fireside Chat will feature an informal conversation between an Advarra representative and a clinical research thought leader. Attendees are invited to submit questions in advance, which speakers will incorporate into their discussion.

In the first Fireside Chat, Gadi Saarony, CEO of Advarra, speaks with Deb Tatton, Senior Vice President, Global Clinical Operations at Parexel. Gadi and Deb will talk about the challenges sites face, bring awareness to these issues, and propose possible ways sponsors and CROs can work more collaboratively with sites to improve study startup and address the changing clinical trial landscape. The COVID-19 pandemic has proven that research can be done more efficiently. In order to make these efficiencies sustainable, the sites’ perspective must be considered.
